‘Dancing With the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba has her eye on a new job — permanently filling the morning talk show seat left vacant last November by Regis Philbin.

“I have always wanted to do a talk show,” says Inaba, 44, who has already subbed four times on “Live.

“I love co-hosting with Kelly [Ripa]. And I loved when I co-hosted on “The View.’ ”

No one has offered her the job yet, she says.

In fact, six months after Regis’ departure, “Live” executive producer Michael Gelman has not offered the job to anyone — which is something of a surprise in TV circles.

It has been presumed that a replacement would be ready to go by May when local TV audiences are measured and syndicated shows like “Live” pull out all the stops to build up viewers.

But the show has refused to talk and nothing seems imminent.

Still, though Carrie Ann believes the bosses are open to the idea of two female hosts, she’s not counting on it.

“I think they are looking for a guy,” she says. “So I am not sure what is going to happen there.”

NY1 anchor Pat Kiernan, who has also said he’d jump at the job if offered, is co-hosting again today and tomorrow.
