ARCHIE may not have been able to make up his mind, but Miramax has – it’s just grabbed “Betty & Veronica.”

According to Variety, the studio will team with Archie Comics Entertainment to feature the comics’ blond and brunette heartthrobs in a live-action film.

The 60-year-old series has spawned cartoons and even a pop band. (Remember the one-hit Archies and “Sugar, Sugar”?) But the band from Riverside High has never been made flesh.

No word yet on who’ll play sweet, wholesome Betty Cooper, the filthy rich Veronica Lake – or our fave, Jughead.
