Cursed ‘Money’
‘I Love Money” is cashing in its chips.
The VH1 competition reality show that became famous for all the wrong reasons — a cast member was involved in a brutal murder-suicide — is wrapping up its run with tonight’s fourth season finale.
VH1 has no plans for any additional seasons of the series, a spokesperson said yesterday.
In August 2009, “I Love Money 3” cast member (and rumored winner) Ryan Jenkins — who also appeared in the network’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” — was charged with murdering his wife, model Jasmine Fiore, before committing suicide in a Canadian motel room.
VH1 yanked “Megan” off the air that month and canceled the entire third season of “I Love Money” before it aired last January.
