‘DANCING with the Stars” champ Drew Lachey is hosting a “DWTS” spin-off called “Dance War.”

On the show, “DWTS” judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will compete with each other to form dance troupes from a collection of the series’ contestants.

Their search for amateur singers/dancers starts in September and hits Central Park’s Wollman Ice Rink at 8 a.m. on Sept. 29.

Those who make it through the auditions and semi-final rounds will become dance team members in January and go toe-to-toe for the winning title in choreographed singing/dancing challenges.

The show is expected to fill the gap between editions of “Dancing with the Stars” in early 2008.
