Seth Rogen has been sliding into Donald Trump Jr.’s DMs — and the commander-in-chief’s son doesn’t appear to be too pleased.

During an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday, Rogen revealed that Trump Jr. recently followed him on Twitter. So the liberal comedian followed him back to “open a line of communication” with the president’s son, he said.

So far, that “line of communication” has consisted exclusively of direct messages from Rogen that Trump Jr. has seen — but completely ignored.

“Hey man! It’s Seth. Your father is trying to discredit our media, collude with Russia, and destroy the environment,” Rogen wrote in the first message, which appeared to have been seen by Trump at 10:08 a.m. on the day it was sent. “It would be super cool of you to be like ‘yo, dad, why don’t you stop all this and go back to being just a guy on TV.’ The majority of the world would be pretty psyched. Thanks!!!”

On Tuesday, Rogen tweeted a screenshot of an additional message he sent to Trump Jr., which was seen Monday at 3:16 p.m:

Not to be outdone, Colbert — whom Trump Jr. also follows — composed his own message, asking if the president’s son wanted to “burn one.”

It’s been almost 24 hours and there is still no word of a response.

As of Tuesday night, Trump Jr. was still following both Rogen and Colbert.
