The Mickey Mouse club

What American family doesn’t dream of taking a trip to Disneyland? Well, the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clans of “Modern Family” are no different, but they’re not going to get there without some amusing complaining first. One passenger has motion sickness, another has achy feet. Phil (Ty Burrell) tries to keep up with Luke, Claire (Julie Bowen) is shocked when they run into Dylan, Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) disagree about sensible shoes for the day, and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet ) run their butts off trying to keep up with Lily.

MODERN FAMILY

Wedding-bell blues

With only two days before the big day, Mike (Billy Gardell) and Molly (Melissa McCarthy, below right) stage their wedding rehearsal, with disastrous results. With Swoosie Kurtz and Louis Mustillo.

MIKE & MOLLY

Monday, 9:30 p.m., CBS

Trouble with sexting

What’s happening in Greenpoint? Not a whole hell of a lot, but we do have this: On “Girls,” Adam (Adam Driver) sends poor Hannah (Lena Dunham) a “sext” message that sends her into a tailspin. Meanwhile, Hannah’s boss (Richard Masur) gets a little touchy at her office job. Virginal Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) meets with a boy she first met at sleepaway camp. Jessa (Jemima Kirke) neglects her charges. Ray (Alex Karpofsky) and Charlie (Chris Abbott) snoop through the girls’ apartment.

GIRLS

Today, 10:30 p.m., HBO

Back on the boards

A major crisis occurs in the life of film star Rebecca Duvall (Uma Thurman, below center) just as “Bombshell,” otherwise known as the Marilyn Monroe musical, faces its first audience. The team of Tom (Christian Borle) and Julia (Debra Messing) scrambles to fix the show when the first preview falls short, and Frank (Brian D’Arcy James) must adjust to the unwelcome return of seductive preppie Michael Swift (Will Chase) to his life. Dev (Raza Jaffrey) seeks reconciliation with Karen (Katharine McPhee), but explosive information about that hussy Ivy (Megan Hilty) lurks just beneath the surface. Jack Davenport and Anjelica Huston also star.

SMASH

Monday, 10 p.m., NBC

Making tracks

When one of the roommates — hint: he’s a little scruffy — decides to move out of the loft, the gang makes an unexpected trip to the desert, where Winston (Lamorne Morris) faces his fear of the dark. Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt’s (Max Greenfield) relationship reaches a turning point, and Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel, above right) square off with a coyote.

NEW GIRL

Tuesday, 9 p.m., Fox

As God is their witness

When the murder of an Army veteran puts Beckett (Stana Katic) on the trail of the man who shot her, Castle (Nathan Fillion) must decide how much he’s willing to sacrifice to keep her safe. As secrets are revealed and feelings are put on the table, the lives of the detectives at the 12th Precinct may never be the same.
