A guest scheduled to appear on “Dr. Phil” this week — in a show about “relationship-commitment issues” — was arrested Saturday in Los Angeles for allegedly beating his girlfriend.

Stephen Stanage, 37, was arrested at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood and charged with one count of felony domestic battery after allegedly pulling his girlfriend off a bed twice, according to TMZ.

Stanage was arrested after guests alerted hotel security that they heard Stanage crying for help, according to the report.

Stanage, who also had an outstanding warrant from an earlier DUI, will not appear on “Dr. Phil.” He’s being held on $326,000 bail.

“We have not worked with this couple yet, as they have just recently written in for help deciding if they are good candidates for marriage, or perhaps have some work to do first — as it now seems clear they do,” a show spokesperson told TMZ.
