Many are Fringe-y – but few are chosen. Herewith, some of the big winners of this year’s New York International Fringe Festival, which closed Sunday after 195 shows and more than 1,200 performances.

* For best production: “Billy Nijinsky,” “Matt & Ben,” “Five Frozen Embryos & The Sleepers” and “6 Story Building.”

* Direction: Kelly Groves (“Beat”), Jeremy Dobrish (“The Joys of Sex”), Arian Blanco (“Dismiss All the Poets”).

* Performance: Tonya Canada (“It’s All About Me”), Liz Larsen (“Him & Her”), Shiek Mahmud-Bey (“The Way Out”), Matthew Swan (“On the Clock”).
