The first photo of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in HBO’s “Game Change” was released today, showing that the actress may outdo Tina Fey in the competition to look most like the former Alaska governor.

The TV movie, which is about to start production, is based on the book of the same name about the 2008 presidential campaign.

The movie is written by Danny Strong, who wrote HBO’s “Recount” about the 2004 election controversy. Jay Roach, who directed “Recount,” is set to direct.
