FOX News Channel won the cable news ratings race regarding Ronald Reagan’s funeral last Friday.

FNC averaged over 2 million viewers (total day) and 5 million viewers in prime time, beating CNN and MSNBC by extremely wide margins.

In prime time (9:15-11 p.m.), ABC averaged 8.2 million viewers and NBC averaged 7.8 million viewers.

Numbers for CBS were not available.

Nielsen estimates that a combined 35 million viewers watched from 9 to 11 p.m. on all networks.
