‘PROJECT Greenlight” won’t see a third season – at least not on HBO.

The Ben Affleck/Matt Damon reality show, co-produced with Miramax TV, won’t be returning to HBO, but could land elsewhere – perhaps on NBC-owned Bravo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“They’re in talks,” a source told The Post regarding Bravo’s interest in acquiring “Project Greenlight,” which tracks neophyte filmmakers as their projects get made into big-screen movies.

“We believe in ‘Project Greenlight’ and are currently reevaluating its distribution options,” a Miramax spokesman told The Hollywood Reporter.

Both movies that resulted from the show, “Stolen Summer” and “The Battle of Shaker Heights,” were box-office busts, although critics generally liked “Project Greenlight” for its originality.

The show performed only so-so for HBO, and was not up to the ratings levels of its bigger hits, “Sex and the City,” “The Sopranos” and “Six Feet Under.”

Bravo has carved a niche for itself with offbeat shows, particularly with the success of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” the top-rated show in its history.

“Queer” has been heavily cross-promoted on NBC, which has also aired several episodes of the cable show.

NBC could take the same approach with “Project Greenlight” should it land at Bravo.
