America is warming up to the new “American Idol” judges.

Wednesday night’s “Idol” episode snared nearly 25 million viewers — a 2 percent increase over last year’s equivalent-night Wednesday-night viewership, when the “Idol” panel featured the now-departed Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi.

With new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joining Randy Jackson this season, “Idol” seems to have regained its ratings mojo.

Wednesday’s episode was up 1 million viewers from the previous week’s Wednesday episode — and won the night in all key demos.
