Have you noticed anything sad about the New Jersey Nets this year? (Other than, that is, the fact that they’re ranked 14th our of 15 teams in the Eastern Conference?) Take a long hard look at their new road uniforms.

There’s only one word for the gray mesh, shiny V-neck (meant to look futuristic in keeping with the millennium). Ugly.

So, we asked three of our favorite Seventh Avenue figures – Betsey Johnson, Pixie Yates and Russell Simmon’s Phat Farm design team – to provide the New Jersey with tips for improvement.
