The Range Rover Ultimate has a hefty $170,000 sticker, but only 500 are set to be made this summer — and just 50 will be on sale in the US, Jaguar Land Rover officials said.
It’s Land Rover’s most expensive car, ever. Luxury features include two stand-alone, powered rear seats, a pair of iPad2 tablets mounted on the back seats, an aluminum laptop table and yacht-style teak flooring in rear luggage space.
Jag officials said the limited-edition concept car showcases high-end consumer demand for more tech toys in their sweet ride.
“The key is to have these technological luxuries available to the passenger and not be a distraction to the driver,” said Stuart Schorr, a vice president of Jaguar Land Rover North America.
