POP singer Janet Jackson will play Lena Horne in an ABC TV biography about the sultry crooner.

The movie will be co-produced by Oscar-winning “Chicago” masterminds Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Jackson will also sing all the songs Horne made famous.

“Lena Horne” is expected to air sometime next year and will be based on Horne’s autobiograpy, “Lena,” co-written by Time magazine’s Richard Schickel.
