Jennifer Aniston will reunite with her former “Friends” costar Courteney Cox in a guest role on “Cougar Town,” ABC announced Monday.

Aniston will play a therapist to Cox, whose character chases after younger men, on the show’s season two premiere on September 22.

The two became close when they starred together on the hit NBC comedy from 1994 to 2004. They last collaborated creatively when Aniston appeared on the FX series “Dirt” in 2007, in which Cox starred.

Aniston, 41, is also godmother to Cox’s six-year-old daughter Coco with husband David Arquette.
