TV is the place where ev erybody knows Kelsey Grammer’s name — and now his wife is getting in on the act.
Camille Grammer, a former Playboy model and the “Frasier” star’s wife of 13 years, has reportedly been cast to star in a new, Beverly Hills version of “The Real Housewives” series.
Camille, 41, will join Paris Hilton’s aunts — Kim and Kyle Richards — and Lisa Vanderpump, a former “Baywatch Nights” babe who now runs two swank LA restaurants with her husband.
The Grammers have two kids, 9-year-old daughter, Mason, and a 6-year-old son, Jude (though Kelsey has grown children from a previous marriage, including daughter Spencer, who stars on the series “Greek.”)
Husbands usually take some part in the “Real Housewives” shows — so it is possible that Kelsey may show up at some point in the Bravo cable series which has no air date yet.
But Grammer — one of the richest TV actors in Hollywood who was earning $1 million an episode during the final seasons of “Frasier” — is set for a long run on Broadway, starring in a revival of “La Cage aux Folles” starting next month.
Vanderpump was in the news recently when her stolen Bentley was found in a ditch near Mulholland Drive — the same day troubled Charlie Sheen’s Mercedes ended up at the bottom of a ravine nearby.
The news first appeared yesterday on the E! channel’s Web site.
