Kid $tar: iCarly
‘i
Carly” star Miranda Cosgrove is TV’s new estteen titan after inking a big-bucks megadeal with Nickelodeon.
Cosgrove’s new deal, estimated to be “in the low- to mid-seven figures,” according to The Hollywood Reporter, means she’s earning about $180,000-per-episode.
That comes to $4.7 million for the upcoming 26-episode season of “iCarly,” the biggest show in Nick history.
Cosgrove, 16, now joins the ranks of elite TV stars like Tina Fey (“30 Rock“) and Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy“) in pulling down a big-bucks salary every week.
And she’s worth every penny to Nick as the face of the kid-oriented cable network.
“iCarly,” which premiered in 2007, rakes in numbers the big networks would kill for — including 12.4 million viewers for the show’s “iSaved Your Life” special.
