Lady Gaga has made history — landing over 20 million followers on Twitter.

The “Bad Romance” singer is the first user to ever reach the momentous milestone, securing her strong lead as the most followed account on the microblogging website.

The Grammy winner, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, nabbed her Twitter lead on the heels of launching her anti-bullying cause, the Born This Way Foundation, with her mother Cynthia.

Justin Bieber has the second most Twitter followers with 18.1 million and pop singer Katy Perry is in third place with 15.7 million.

President Barack Obama, by contrast, has 12.8 million Twitter followers.
