Lebanon, Pa.
A slick Philadelphia ad man makes his way into rural “Lebanon, Pa.” to sort through his late father’s things, but gets mixed up in a teen’s abortion angst instead.
Will (Josh Hopkins) finds that there was more to his estranged father than he expected, and starts to enjoy slumming it with the beer-pounding locals. He begins an affair with a married teacher (Samantha Mathis) as one of her students, CJ (an assured Rachel Kitson), confides in him that she is pregnant and doesn’t know what to do.
This mild drama plays out like one of those dull message movies that TV networks used to crank out almost weekly, but the earnestness is at times almost appealingly old-fashioned.
