LOS ANGELES — “Lethal Weapon” screenwriter Shane Black will step behind the camera and direct “Iron Man 3,” Deadline reported Thursday.

Black will team up with series star Robert Downey Jr., whom he directed in 2005’s “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang,” for the 2013 flick.

As for whether Black will also write the screenplay, “that’s not yet figured out.” a source said.
