TRADER LOOKING TO BUY, SELL ROMANCE

THE man in the hot seat at Meet Market this week is Vikas, a handsome Age TK currency sales trader who modestly describes himself as “good looking and charming, with a nice smile, and the body of a God.”

He goes on to describe himself as “spontaneous, fun and unique; ambitious and driven; loud, assertive and prone to insanity … that’s enough gloating for today!”

When he’s not working – or gloating, for that matter – Vikas enjoys working out, reading, doing jiu-jitsu and learning languages.

In the scope of romance, Vikas likes a woman who has poise and confidence, an athletic body, large eyes and “the ability to laugh.”

On the flip side, he says: “I don’t like excessive or demanding women. And excessive makeup is a turnoff” – so ladies, put away your lipsticks.

We like to pry, so we demanded that Vikas tell us about his worst date ever.”It was a setup date to a Broadway show, and the girl announced that we should just be friends – on the train ride to the show.”

Ouch!Meet the three lovely women Vikas has to choose from, and be sure to read The Post next week to find out who was picked – and how the big date went.

And if you think you’d like to get in on the fun, go online to nypost.com/dating and sign yourself up!

Kristin, 25, Teacher

What do you like to do when you’re not working? I’m always up for trying anything new. I enjoy wandering the city, taking dance classes, playing the cello, going to museums, etc. But I also have days where I just want to hang out and read or watch a movie.

How would you describe yourself? I’m consistently rational, and I hate drama – although I’m also goofy and have definitely been known to enjoy making a complete ass out of myself. Basically, I think my job as a public school teacher has drained my ability to take petty things too seriously. I am a good listener, but I certainly won’t hesitate to make fun of someone.

What do you look for in a man? I look for someone who is smart, funny, quirky and has a wide range of interests. I like guys that are cute in a scruffy kind of way – a guy who has the desire to make something of himself, even if he’s not sure exactly what that is yet. I like guys who make me think and teach me to look at the world in different ways.

What was your worst date ever? The guy showed up wearing tapered pants and a tucked-in shirt. As soon as he sat down, he started sweating profusely and seemed incapable of finishing a sentence. Then he told me that in his spare time he did stand-up comedy, and proceeded to tell a stupid, horrifically unoriginal, unfunny joke. If you’re on a date with a jerk, at least you can put him in his place. This guy was nice – just soooo not right for me!

Molly, 29, Graduate Student

What do you like to do when you’re not working? I love to go out with my friends. I have a lot of ’em, okay? Catching up, socializing – I’m a pathological socializer. I study, too, when necessary. I travel, visit friends and relatives around the country and around the world. Occasionally I’ll spend a quiet night at home alone, knitting and watching a DVD.

What three things can you not live without? Humor, other open-minded people and fresh air

How would you describe yourself? I’m usually confident, outgoing, friendly, talkative and funny. I’ve got a wacky, dry sense of humor.

What do you look for in a man? Empathy, good conversational skills (including good listening skills), a quick sense of humor, well roundedness and someone who is physically healthy/athletic

What has your New York dating experience been like? I’ve dated several N.Y.C. men and have met a few winners that had long-term potential, but they either moved out of the city, got scared of commitment, or were caught in lies. I don’t mope about being single; I love it, but I am turning 30 this year and am becoming more conscious of the ticking clock. Not so hot to get a ring on my finger just yet, though!

Agnes, 23, Photographer

What do you like to do when you’re not working? Take pictures! Plus, go to the beach. I love concerts and exploring the city.

How would you describe yourself? Free-spirited, funny, sexy, saucy and a general enjoyer of life!

What was your worst date ever? I met a guy online, and he sent me a picture that wasn’t him. I am a very open person, but I won’t tolerate dishonesty, and when we met on a date, he acted like it wasn’t even an issue. I got out of there really quick!

What has your New York dating experience been like? Wonderful, dreadful, interesting … I don’t regret anything. Everyone I have dated has taught me something about myself and people in general.

What was your favorite song to slow-dance to in junior high? “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men.

Anything else we should know about you? I’m a very happy person. I enjoy the little, beautiful moments life has to offer.
