Singer Monica fearlessly leaped into action Saturday, jumping off stage and into the audience of her live show after allegedly witnessing a male concertgoer strike a woman in the crowd.
“Is you out your f – – king mind?,” questioned the incensed R&B artist, 42, upon spotting the melee amid a sea of fans during her performance at the Riverfront Music Festival in Detroit, Michigan.
Footage of the “The Boy Is Mine” powerhouse’s upset has gone viral on Twitter, scaring up more than 3.3. million views.
“Don’t you hit her like that,” barked the Grammy winner and mother of three. “You don’t hit no lady like that!.”
She then instructed security guards to escort the ne’er-do-well out of the venue.

“You don’t hit no f – – kin’ lady like that,” she spat at the unidentified man while surrounded by a throng of spectators yelling: “Period!,” and “Get his ass outta here!” in agreement.
Representatives for Monica did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

“I want to apologize, ya’ll, that s – – t triggered me,” she said, per a TikTok clip of the fête.
“I seen him punch that lady in the face, I lost my f – – kin’ top. I apologize y’all. I apologize from the bottom of my heart,” continued Monica to the cheering crowd.
“I was gonna knock [his] a – – out with this f – – kin’ mic.”
Monica apologized to fans for her outrage, admitting that the abusive scene “triggered” her. Twitter/@TheeKAlexisFollowing the fray, a spokesperson for the Riverfront Music Festival thanked Monica for her ferocious bravery.
“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Monica for her courage and decisive intervention during an unfortunate incident at our Festival,” said the rep in a statement to Detroit Metro Times. “Her actions demonstrated a commitment to the safety and respect of her fans, reinforcing our belief that she is not just an extraordinary talent, but an extraordinary individual as well.”
In 2018, Monica took to Instagram to reveal that she and her brother attempted to rush to a woman’s aid during a domestic violence incident in the parking lot of a pharmacy. WireImageMonica isn’t alone in her commitment to standing up for what is right at all costs.
Taylor Swift interrupted a performance of “Bad Blood” during her Eras Tour stop in Philadelphia this May after spotting a security guard wrongfully reprimanding a female fan in floor seats. And in August 2022, Lady Gaga stopped her Chromatica Ball show in Washington, DC, to openly support women’s reproductive rights.
And for Monica — who, in 2018, too, publicly stepped in to defend a woman against domestic violence — abuse is never acceptable.
“We just don’t get down like that where I’m from,” said the Atlanta, Georgia, native before atoning, yet again, for getting rowdy with the ruffian over the weekend.
“And I had every intention of coming out here and acting like a lady in this motherf – – ker,” she joked.
