Puck, the obnoxious, one-time star of MTV’s hip young series “The Real World,” is experiencing something far more real these day -jail.

Puck, whose real name is David Edward Rainey, is serving a one-year sentence in a Los Angeles County jail after pleading no-contest to charges that he beat up his girlfriend.
