NBC will finish February sweeps in fifth place in adults 18-49 for the first time ever — behind Spanish-language Univision.

Univision has beaten NBC’s nightly lineup in adults 18-49 every night of sweeps, according to a report in deadline.com.

Sweeps ratings are used to determine ad rates.

NBC has been sabotaged by its weak schedule, most notably by the low-rated sitcom “1600 Penn” and “Smash,” which bombed in its return. Only “The Biggest Loser” and “The Office” are pulling in decent numbers in adults 18-49, according to the report.
