BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Netflix entered a multiyear agreement under which its subscribers can access movies from the Miramax movie library, the companies said Monday, without disclosing the terms of the agreement.
It was the first time that Miramax, the Santa Monica, Calif.-based movie studio, made its movies available via digital subscription, Netflix said.
Miramax’s library includes prominent titles like “Pulp Fiction,” “The English Patient,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Kill Bill” and “Scream,” among others.
Subscribers to the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based service can access the films via their TVs, computers, tablets and cell phones, the companies said.
