LONG BRANCH, N.J. — Bruce Springsteen will release a new album in March, the rock legend announced on his website Thursday.
Featuring 11 new tracks, “Wrecking Ball” will be the New Jersey native’s 17th studio album and the first since the death of his longtime saxophonist, Clarence Clemons.
The album is being released March 6 under Sony’s Columbia Records label.
Springsteen and the E Street Band will then tour the US and Europe.
Springsteen’s last concert tour, pegged to the “Working on a Dream” album in 2009, grossed a reported $167 million.
