ELISABETH Hasselbeck sported a bandaged thumb on yesterday’s “The View” – and a rockin’ ponytail courtesy of her husband, Redskins quarterback Tim Hasselbeck.

Elisabeth had a non-cancerous tumor excised from her right thumb Tuesday, which necessitated having her thumbnail removed and then sewn back on.

The surgery left Elisabeth in lots of pain – and unable to fashion a ponytail for herself. Enter hubby Tim – who rose to the challenge and made his first-ever ponytail for his ailing wife.

Her co-hosts teased her good naturedly that the ponytail was not straight.

“He was really incredible,” Elisabeth told The Post. “The key to a good ponytail is not too many bumps and he did a good job. He asked me, ‘How many times around does this have to go?’

“He’s got many skills I’m just learning about now,” she said. “He stepped right up without hesitation and understood the pressure that was involved.”
