POP POLITICS
Gene Hackman on the big screen starring in “The Michael Bloomberg Story”? Armand Assante in “The Life of Freddy Ferrer”?
Well, yes, if the candidates had their way. With the mayoral campaign entering the home stretch, we know about everything the two front-runners think about the issues, but hardly anything about what New Yorkers really care about – food, movies and music.
The Post sent a questionnaire to both candidates on their pop culture likes and dislikes. And though the two are as far apart in taste as they are on the issues in some respects, there is room for common ground. After all, they were both fans of westerns as a kid – Bloomberg loved “Maverick” and Ferrer liked “The Lone Ranger.”
