SEX & THE CINE
THE 2004 Toronto Film Festival looks set to be one of the sexiest in years.
* Johnny Depp – who stars as bisexual, 17th-century poet the Earl of Rochester – kisses handsome unknown actor Rupert Friend in “The Libertine.”
* “Scream” queen Neve Campbell does her first nude scene – appearing fully naked in a minute-long shower scene – in controversial director James Toback’s “When Will I Be Loved.”
* It’s nothing less than full frontal for Peter Sarsgaard, who also shares a passionate smooch with Liam Neeson in “Kinsey,” about the famous sex researcher Alfred Kinsey.
* Mexican hottie Gael Garcia Bernal plays a drag queen who engages in some explicit gay sex in Pedro Almodovar’s “Bad Education.”
* Annette Bening has a sexy bedroom scene with a younger man in “Being Julia.”
* Michael Winterbottom’s controversial “9 Songs” is brimming with real, explicit sex scenes, and John Waters’ “A Dirty Shame” makes reference to virtually every sexual perversion imaginable.
