Shannen Doherty has posted a tribute to her one-time TV fiancé, “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star David Gail.
Gail died Jan. 16 at age 58, due to complications from sudden cardiac arrest, his rep told The Post.
“Beverly Hills, 90210” ran for 10 seasons on Fox, from 1990 to 2000, and followed a group of friends through high school, college and life in the titular neighborhood.
Doherty, 52, starred as Brenda Walsh, who moves to the area with her brother Brandon (Jason Priestley) and tries to fit in.
Gail played Stuart Carson, Brenda’s fiancé, who entered the story in Season 4. He appeared in eight episodes before the characters’ engagement ended due to Carson’s drug-dealing history.
On Tuesday, Doherty posted an Instagram Story photo of herself as Brenda and Gail as Stuart, dancing together on set. She did not include a caption.

“I have to say thank you to you guys for what you wrote, what you produced [and] all the ideas. That was something I’m really grateful for,” he said at the time.
Although initial reports said Gail’s death was being investigated as a possible overdose, his family has no reason to suspect the cause of his death was anything but heart failure, the rep said.
“We are extremely touched by the outpouring of love from David’s dedicated fans and colleagues,” his mom, Mary, said in a statement. “We are grateful for all the support received during this very difficult time.”

David Gail died at age 58. WireImageIn addition to playing Stuart on “90210,” Gail was known for playing Dr. Joe Scanlon for more than 200 episodes on the “General Hospital” spinoff, “Port Charles.” His credits also include “ER,” “Murder, She Wrote” and “Doogie Howser, M.D.”
Doherty has faced her own health issues, as she’s battling Stage IV breast cancer. Last November, she revealed that her illness has spread to her bones.
She has said on her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast that she’s hoping to “squeeze out another three to five years.”

Katie confirmed his death Saturday in an Instagram post, writing, “There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side.
“Always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me the bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another.”
