FX is set to order 90 more episodes of Charlie Sheen’s new sitcom, “Anger Management,” produced by Lionsgate.
Lionsgate TV president Kevin Beggs says the plan is for the company to supply FX with 40 episodes a year, leaving it up to FX as to how it wants to air them. He also said the show is expected to start shooting its second season next month.
Lionsgate says “Anger” is fetching between $900,000 to $1 million per episode in overseas sales, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
