‘Saturday Night Live’ added a third new featured player yesterday to replace departing castmates Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott.

Cecily Strong, yet another performer from Chicago’s Second City improv group, was named to the cast of the long-running sketch-comedy show.

She joins two other new cast members Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson, both alumni of Second City, who were reported over the weekend to have signed with “SNL.”

The show starts its 38th season on Saturday, with Seth MacFarlane hosting.
