QUEEN Latifah is ready to go the way of Roseanne.

Another very successful TV comedienne has found it is nearly impossible these days to translate celebrity status into a successful talk show.

Roseanne found out the hard way last year when her show was cancelled.

Now it appears to be Latifah’s turn.

And she is not alone.

Judge Mills Lane” and “Curtis Court” are also on the cancellation bubble due to low ratings – along with reality show “Real TV.”

And while none of these shows have been officially canned – getting confirmation on cancellations is like dealing with the Kruschev-era Kremlin – the writing is on the wall.

“‘Judge Mills Lane,’ ‘Real TV’ and ‘Curtis Court’ will not be back, based on the conversations I’ve had with people in the industry,” says Mediaweek TV analyst Marc Berman. “The problem with ‘Real TV’ is that it’s gotten lost in the whole ‘Judge Judy‘ shuffle.

“‘Queen Latifah‘ is definitely on the bubble,” says Berman. “It was renewed for a second season, which was a surprise to begin with . . . and its numbers have not improved.

“I doubt very much that it will be coming back.”

At the very least, “Latifah” hasn’t suffered a drastic ratings dropoff from last season like some of the other shows.

“Latifah,” in fact, is averaging 1.2 million households a week – flat from a year ago.
