The kudos continue to roll in for CNN and TV One anchor/ reporter Roland Martin.
Martin, whose new book was published last month (“The First: President Barack Obama’s Road to the White House”), has found an audi ence with TV One’s “Wash ington Watch with Roland Martin,” his Sunday-morning public affairs show, which he balances with his CNN ap pearances. He’s also been nominated for an NAACP Image Award, made Ebony Magazine’s “Power 150” list for the third consecutive year and ranked just behind Colin Powell on The Daily Beast’s survey of black leaders who best epitomize the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

“Law & Order” star Sam Wa terston managed to catch one of the last flights out of JFK in the midst of Wednesday’s big snowstorm to attend that night’s Alliance for Children’s Rights dinner in LA, which honored all three “L&O” se ries. Waterston introduced a video from the three casts; Dick Wolf, Neal Baer, Rene Balcer, Walon Green, Arthur Forney and Peter Jankowski accepted on behalf of “L&O.”
The snow also didn’t stop “Rachael Ray” fans from at tending Wednesday’s taping (all seats were taken). Fans waiting in line (outside) to get into the show were treated to hot chocolate by show host Rachael Ray.

Dr. Travis Stork (“The Doc tors”) begins his new monthly column, “The World of Hurt,” in the March issue of Men’s Health. Stork, who once headlined “The Bache lor” on ABC, is a practicing ER physician; his maiden col umn will be discussed on to day’s show (9 a.m./Ch. 2).
