Rob Lowe’s “dr. vegas” has joined NBC’s “Father of the Pride” as another high-profile fall series now officially “on hiatus” – or at least gone from the schedule during the November sweeps period (which kicks off tomorrow night).

Lowe hasn’t had much luck since leaving “The West Wing.” His last series, NBC’s “The Lyon’s Den,” flopped, and “dr. vegas” didn’t perform much better during its short run.

Lowe still has a way to go before reaching MacLean Stevenson status. Stevenson remains the gold standard for bad decision-making, opting to leave “M*A*S*H” after three seasons for more money – and a career remembered thereafter for “Hello, Larry.”

Last, but not least:

* Former Ch. 7 anchor Robb Hanrahan has been cited for DUI down in Florida. According to The Miami Herald, Hanrahan, an anchor at CBS-owned WFOR, claims he was “under the influence of antidepressants.”

* Ch. 4’s Len Berman emcees The Boys Club of New York’s Annual All Sports Hall of Fame Dinner tonight (at the Waldorf).

* Tim Vincent, who hosts “Access Hollywood UK,” will be the show’s New York correspondent for the remainder of the month. Nancy O’Dell, Billy Bush co-host “AH” all this week from 30 Rock.

* Last Sunday’s “60 Minutes” nabbed nearly 20 million viewers – its largest audience since March 2000.

* Food Network’s Bobby Rivers chosen by Instinct magazine as one of November’s “Leading Men of 2004.”

* Comedy writer Jeffrey Gurian, who wrote for the late Rodney Dangerfield, is helping to promote a new Dangerfield 3-DVD boxed set (R2 Entertainment).

* Nov. 18: Pals of the late Scott Muni, including Steve Leeds and Zach Martin, will gather at Sony Sound Studios (W. 54th) to share stories and memories of working with, for and alongside “Scottso.”

* Late Show crib sheet: Happy birthday to Harry Letterman, who turns 1 today.
