On the streets of NYC

The last time the cast of “CSI: NY” was here was a memorable one, since there was a torrential downpour while filming was underway. On their way out of Central Park, near the Plaza Hotel, they walked right into a police terrorist drill – and, with the NYPD’s permission, the show’s cameras began filming, with the idea of incorporating this into the show.

So, on tomorrow’s “CSI: NY” (10 p.m./ Ch. 2), when Det. Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) is running in the rain in the middle of police cars, it’s the footage shot during that drill.

Ellen DeGeneres was also here recently, taping some remotes for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (10 a.m./Ch. 4), including something with “Apprentice” star Donald Trump.

On Friday’s show, Ellen and her loyal production assistant, Houston, are summoned to The Donald’s board room. Trump sends the pair, a la “The Apprentice,” out into the streets of our fair city, with the assignment of selling “Trump Dogs” to passersby.

No word on whether Ellen and Houston were “fired” by The Donald.

Last, but not least:

* “Two Five-Letter Words: Lenny Bruce,” a retrospective of Bruce’s work, runs through Jan. 9 at The Museum of Television & Radio.

* “Mattie Fresno and the Holoflux Universe” shooting in NYC and Long Island with a cast including Catherine Hickland, Ilene Kristen, Ellen Cleghorne and Robert Clohessy. It’s written/directed by Phil Gallo along with Stephen Bretschneider and Donna Miller Gallo.

* “Wheel of Fortune on Tour” repeats Nov. 29 (4 p.m.) on The Travel Channel.

* Robert W. Cohen’s “A Team for the Ages” (best baseball players of all time) being shopped for a series.

The Starr Report will return Tuesday, Nov. 30.
