And the winner for the best video you’re watching at the office when you should be working goes to . . .
Thursday night marked the fifth annual Streamy Awards, a show dedicated to the best in online content. (Oddly enough, the show still values old-school broadcasting, and was shown on VH1.)
Trophies were handed out in a slew of categories you won’t find at the Oscars, including best beauty channel and best social goods campaign.
If you’re over the age of, say, 19, you might find a lot of this content self-absorbed garbage. In other words, you may not be interested in watching some nobody prattle on for seven minutes about what she just bought at the mall.
