MOSCOW — Paramount Pictures announced Monday that “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” the third movie in the series, will make its world premiere at the Moscow International Film Festival, Deadline.com reported.
“Dark of the Moon” will open the festival on June 23, six days before it opens in the United States.
Festivities marking the opening night of the festival will include a performance by US band Linkin Park in Moscow’s Red Square.
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” sees the return of stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro from the first two films. British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will take over the leading lady role, replacing Megan Fox.
