“Melrose Place” actress Heather Locklear was in a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday suffering from a bacterial infection, TMZ reported.

Locklear was prescribed antibiotics and is expected to be released later Wednesday, her rep told the entertainment website.

The 49-year-old was most recently in Canada to film the Lifetime movie “He Loves Me.”

In July, Locklear successfully completed a 30-day in-patient rehab program for prescription drug addiction.

She entered the program after she was arrested following a hit-and-run incident in April but sources said her decision to seek treatment had nothing to do with that episode.
