Jon Voight is joining the world of series TV.

The Oscar-winning actor will star in the Fox pilot “Midland” as the father of a woman (Adrianne Palicki) involved with a Texas con artist (Jimmy Wolk) who’s juggling several girlfriends.

David Keith will also co-star.

This will be Voight’s first regular TV role; he appeared in Fox’s “24” last season as villain Jonas Hodges.

Voight, 71 — the father of Angelina Jolie — won an Oscar in 1979 for “Coming Home.”
