Color Me Badd hasn’t sounded this good or this creepy in a long time.
Jimmy Fallon and company covered the R&B group’s biggest song – 1991’s “I Wanna Sex You Up” – in barbershop format on Wednesday’s episode of “Late Night.”
The barbershop quartet, named Ragtime Gals, consists of Fallon, A.D. Miles, Tom Shillue and Chris Tartaro. They’ve previously performed songs by Justin Timberlake and Shaggy on the show. But Wednesday’s appearance was something special – it’s not every day that a group of men in striped suits and straw hats harmonize lyrics such as “Girl, you make me feel real good/ We can do it ’til we both wake up.”
