When it comes to Super Bowl Sunday, retired NFL quarterback Tim Hasselback leaves the entertaining to his wife, “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselback.

“Anytime anyone is over watching a game, it’ll look like Martha Stewart came through our place,” says the former Giant. “She’ll decorate with the team’s colors and make a fake Lombardi trophy out of tinfoil.”

And Hasselback is happy to let Elisabeth handle all the pigskin trimmings.

The ex-Boston College star is now an NFL analyst for ESPN, which means he’d rather watch the game without the high-fiving high jinks of a typical Super Bowl bash.

“Since I started covering football, it’s become way less of a social event,” says Hasselback, whose brother Matt is the Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback. “I’m watching it for work, so I want to be left alone to watch the game.”

That’s not to say he won’t enjoy munching on some junk food. “If there’s one staple that’s always there, it’s chips and salsa,” admits Hasselback. “We’ll dominate a few bags.”

And so will Giants tight end Kevin Boss, who’s recovering from recent hip surgery.

“I always say chips and salsa are my kryptonite,” says Boss, usually a health nut. “It’s the one thing that I have a hard time turning away from.”

The rehabbing Oregon native will most likely see the game in a teammate’s state-of-the-art screening room.

“They all have their big theater rooms, but I’m waiting on that second contract to upgrade to one,” he says with a laugh.

Former Giants teammate David Tyree — who made one of the most famous catches in Super Bowl history when the Giants beat the Patriots three years ago — will watch on the 60-inch TV in his New Jersey home.

“I’ve gotta have some Buffalo wings, and everything else is second after that. I love the sticky wings from Dallas BBQ,” says Tyree, who now works with the Christian organization Xperience Outreach.

Both Boss and Tyree are hoping for a Packers victory. “There are few players that I am fans of, but [Green Bay quarterback] Aaron Rodgers is quickly climbing to that status,” says Tyree.

Former Jets coach and Hasselback’s ESPN colleague Herm Edwards, who will spend his day in the studio, agrees with Tyree.

“I want it to be a good game, but I’ll pick Green Bay because Aaron Rodgers went to Cal and I went to Cal,” admits Edwards, who says he doesn’t watch unless he’s coaching or broadcasting.

Meanwhile, loyalties in Hasselback’s bustling household are split.

“My daughter Grace will root for the Packers because they have a huge G on their helmets,” he says, “but my 3-year-old son, Taylor, is rooting for the Steelers because he said they look tough.”
