Think Hillary will be watching?

Sigourney Weaver will star in a new USA series, “Political Animals” — playing a newly minted secretary of state who lost the presidential nomination and is dealing with a philandering ex-husband who was once president.

Sound familiar?

While the names have been changed — and a few plot details tweaked (Weaver’s character, Elaine Barrish, has grown twin sons) — “Political Animals” sounds very much like the Hillary Clinton story.

Hillary is still married to ex-president Bill Clinton and is the mother of Chelsea — but was named secretary of state after losing the Democratic presidential nomination to Barack Obama in 2008.

In the six-part series, scheduled to premiere this summer, Barrish’s ex still pines for her — and for the Oval Office he once inhabited — and she’s also dealing with “a hungry DC journalist bent on destroying her career,” according to a show description.
