IT turns out the latest “Bachelor,” Matt Grant, and his ex-fiancée, Shayne Lamas, are wa-a-y more than broken up.

Grant is calling Lamas a liar.

Until now, the pair had said the break up was amicable, just one of those things.

But this week the former love birds have fallen into a he-said/she-said spat over the $65,000 engagement ring he gave her.

Lamas said he was fine with her keeping the ring. But yesterday, he denied it.

“We never discussed this,” the British-born financier, 27, told the latest edition of People. “I never said it was cool to just keep it. If she said we spoke about it, she just made it up.”

Lamas, 22 – the daughter of TV’s Lorenzo Lamas – recently said she planned to place the 2.85-carat diamond ring in a glass box. Grant suggests auctioning off the ring, paid for by the show’s sponsors, to charity.
