PETE Townshend and Roger Daltrey, the surviving members of The Who, are loving CBS.

The network has already shelled out millions for the rights to use The Who hits “Who Are You” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again” for the openings of “CSI” and “CSI: Miami,” respectively – and has chosen the band’s “Baba O’Reilly” for “CSI: New York,” premiering this fall.

“We had four songs in contention,” “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker told reporters recently.

Zuiker wanted “Behind Blue Eyes” for the new “CSI” show, while CBS chief Les Moonves chose “Baba O’Reilly.”

“I’ll be darned, that man is always right,” Zuiker joked.

Zuiker says CBS will use “appropriate lyrics” from “Baba O’Reilly” for “CSI: New York,” starring Gary Sinise and Melina Kanakarides.
