New research has turned up some sweet findings for chocoholics — who can expect sharper minds if they regularly eat the candy.

Scientists analyzed data from a study of 968 people and found that snacking on chocolate improved scores on a variety of mental tests.

“More frequent chocolate consumption was significantly associated with better performance,” according to a summary posted on the National Institutes of Health Web site.
