Staying in premier shape isn’t exactly priceless for 31-year-old Russell Wilson.

During a recent appearance on The Ringer’s “Bill Simmons Podcast,” the Seattle Seahawks quarterback revealed he spends around $1 million — “if not more” — a year on body recovery, as Wilson continues his quest to play until his mid-40s.

“I have a whole performance team. I’ve got a whole group,” Wilson said. “I’ve got a full-time trainer that travels with me everywhere, and works with [wife] Ciara, too.”

A full-time physical therapist is also part of Wilson’s recovery squad, in addition to a mobile person who makes sure the quarterback is “moving the right way and everything else.”

“I have a full-time massage person. We have two chefs, we have a whole performance team,” he continued.

Wilson, who agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension with the Seahawks last April, added he’s had a recovery program in place for “five or six years now,” and rarely skips a workout.

“I do 365,” Wilson said of the days he does bodywork. “The only time I don’t — I probably do 363. The reality is Christmas, depending on the circumstances, and usually, I do because usually have a game around then, and Thanksgiving.”

The MVP frontrunner is getting his money’s worth.

Wilson and the Seahawks improved to 6-1 on the season after Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. In seven games, Wilson has thrown for 2,151 yards with 26 touchdowns and six interceptions.
