Kristaps Porzingis can walk without crutches again.

Porzingis was spotted Tuesday outside the Hospital for Special Surgery on the Upper East Side. In a white T-shirt, black shorts and a backwards hat, he was leaving a rehabilitation appointment with his physical therapist, Manolo Valdivieso. Porzingis sported a huge brace on his left leg, but he was able to walk on his own as he smiled for pictures with a few fans.

His trainer was carrying Porzingis’ crutches, so he clearly hasn’t ditched them completely yet. Porzingis was even able to navigate a set of steps with no issues.

Porzingis crumpled to the ground Feb. 6 in a game against the Bucks at Madison Square Garden. He tore the ACL in his left knee and is out for the remainder of this season and likely part of the 2018-19 campaign, as well. He had surgery on the knee Feb. 13 at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Porzingis was named an All-Star for the first time this season, but was unable to participate because of the injury. He averaged 22.7 points in 48 games for the Knicks.
