Nets center Brook Lopez signed with Turkish basketball team Besiktas, according to reports.

Lopez, who has been with the Nets for all of his three seasons, will join Deron Williams overseas during the NBA lockout, according to the Sporting News.

Besiktas had been looking to pair another big name NBA star to play alongside Williams, and had spoken with Kevin Love, Luol Deng and Lamar Odom before signing Lopez.

Lopez averaged 20.4 points, six rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game for the Nets last season.

With the lockout continuing, Lopez becomes the latest big name player to sign overseas. Danilo Gallinari, Andrei Kirilenko, Tony Parker and Ronny Turiaf are among some of the other players who have agreed to deals to play with teams overseas.
